Planning

Planning is an important part of any Airport's business.

Hobart Airport has undertaken to complete the 2009 Master Plan as required by the Australian Federal Government. The Master Plan document covers the forward planning of Hobart Airport for the next twenty years and addresses key issues including air traffic forecasting, aviation capacity, aircraft noise, planning and land use and precinct development.

Hobart Airport has also completed the 2010 Draft Environment Strategy as required by the Australian Federal Government.  The Environment Strategy covers key issues including environmental management framework, envrionmental responsibility and environmental values.
