Community Garden

In 2021 Team HBA rolled up their sleeves and constructed six garden beds filled with fresh produce for the Clarence City Salvos as part of our Community Giving Program. With guidance and support from the team at Replas – Recycled Plastic Products, we used a wicking bed system which requires minimal maintenance and is ideal for growing root vegetables and leafy greens. Made from 80% recycled plastics, the beds are also eco-friendly and support the circular economy!

It’s important that everyone in our community has access to fresh and nutritious foods to help improve their physical and mental wellbeing, particularly in their time of need.
