Through our partnership with Variety the Children’s Charity TAS, we were priveleged to help deliver the new ‘Engine Room’ at the Southern Support School in Howrah. The school supports over 100 students living with disabilities. 90% of whom are non verbal.
The new Engine Room is a purpose built room allowing students move freely and safely, dance, exercise and listen to music in between learning. This helps students release energy, remain in the ‘green zone’ and supports their success in their learning journey.
The Southern Support School is the only one of its kind in Southern Tasmania and we are grateful to Simon and his team, as well as Variety the Children’s Charity TAS for inviting us to help deliver this important project.
