At the end of 2021, fourteen trainee guide dogs were put through their paces at Hobart Airport.
Guide Dogs Tasmania Puppy Development Volunteers used the Airport to teach guide dog pups about socialisation and how to deal with busy facilities.
It is important to us that the Airport is as inclusive as possible. Guide dogs are very common at Hobart Airport and at all major airports around the country.
Hobart Airport is connecting communities and that includes people who need assistance from a guide dog to travel.
