Frequently asked questions

Are your chargers compatible with all electric vehicles?

Our EV chargers are fitted with dual CCS2 plugs compatible with 97% of electric vehicles in Tasmania.

If your vehicle is not compatible (such as the Nissan LEAF or Mitsubishi Outlander) you can provide a converter to our Valet parking team when dropping off your vehicle.

What is the cost of charging my electric vehicle?

The cost is 60 cents per kWh.

Are there public EV charging stations available?

Currently, self-serve charging stations are not available on the airport precinct. Electric vehicle charging is only available as an add on service to Valet bookings. We are currently exploring options to expand the offering in the future. Please enquire with the Parking Office if you have any questions.
