Baggage

All of our airline partners have measures in place to ensure your bags are returned to you as soon as possible.

The first step is to contact the airline with which you travelled. Follow the links or contact numbers below.

While we can understand why some of our guests come to us with baggage related feedback, we’d like to clarify that it is our airline partners responsibility to manage baggage, from start to finish. This is done by the airline ground handling agent.

While we love to help, the most effective course of action is to let your airline know your feedback directly. You’re welcome to let us know too and we’ll feed it into our ongoing discussions.

Of course, we strive for the best experience for our guests and we do work closely with the airlines and their ground handling agent to look at and improve baggage related issues.

If you have oversized baggage, we recommend you contact your airline and ask them about requirements before you travel. Once at the airport ask the friendly staff at your airline’s information desk and they’ll help you.

Oversized baggage drop off is located to the right of Check In. Please visit the Check In desks prior to dropping off oversized items.

Upon arrival, oversized items can be collected beside Baggage Carousel 1.

Trolleys are available to borrow to assist with transporting your luggage to and from the Airport terminal. A fee of $5 applies and upon the return of the trolley, you will receive a $1 refund.

Arriving international passengers are eligible for complimentary trolleys.

Trolleys can be found conveniently located near all car parks and high passenger zones within the Hobart Airport precinct.
