From the moment you arrive until the moment you take off, a diverse team of people is working to keep our airport operating safely. Whether it’s guiding aircraft, screening passengers, maintaining infrastructure, assisting travellers, serving customers or managing construction projects, every person has a role to play.
Airport safety is everyone's responsibility.
Airport Safety Week is an annual event held by the Australian Airports Association during October. Airport staff across Australia take part in activities during the month dedicated to improving safety. Safety Week engages with our staff and contractors to consider their own safety at work and their responsibility to provide a safe airport environment for each other and travellers.
