Head of Information Technology – Hobart Airport

About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to lead the development, implementation and operation of efficient, fit for purpose and secure information technology and systems across the Airport.
Reporting to the Chief Financial and Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for managing Hobart Airport’s ICT infrastructure and systems, ensuring they remain resilient, secure and aligned with business needs.
This is a practical, hands-on role that includes day-to-day ICT management to support airport operations, delivery of new ICT infrastructure as part of Hobart Airport’s expansion program, and oversight of corporate systems.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years’ IT management experience in a complex business environment across a broad range of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing people and performance.
- Demonstrated understanding of cyber security and business continuity processes.
- Practical infrastructure, Windows and Linux skills
- Experience managing virtual server hosts and delivering ICT components of broader business projects.
- Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate IT language into practical and relatable advice.
