Commercial vehicle operators seeking to commence operation from Hobart Airport are required to email commercial@hobartairport.com.au for details of relevant operating requirements
Uber
Uber drivers can apply to be registered with Hobart Airport for access to the commercial lanes designated for passenger pick-up and drop-off.
Once your application is approved, your vehicle’s licence plate will be recognised by our Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) system. This will automatically raise the boom gate upon your approach, allowing entry into the commercial lane.
How to apply

Download and open the ZipBy app.

Link a valid credit card to your ZipBy account.

Connect to Hobart Airport’s ZipBy account to submit your application and notify our Parking team.
Taxis
Access to the taxi rank and the passenger drop-off area carries a fee of $2.79 (incl. GST) per entry, payable by credit card at the commercial lane entrance.
Ensure all drop-offs take place within the designated area in the commercial lane.
The taxi rank accommodates a maximum of five vehicles. If the rank is full upon arrival, please vacate the commercial lane immediately.
Pre-booked taxis collecting passengers from the terminal must do so from one of the designated zone behind the taxi rank.
Upon arrival at Hobart Airport to join the rank, please proceed first to your designated staging area and join the queue.
